Lost or forgotten administrator password
Symptoms
You've forgotten the password to the Windows administrator account, or your
child has figured out the password and changed it. As a result, you've lost
control over the computer and can't use TimesUpKidz.
Solution
Unfortunately there may not be a solution to this problem. TimesUpKidz relies on
the security that is part of Microsoft Windows. If there was a simple way to
control the computer after losing the password to the administrator user account
then Windows would have no security at all. In many cases you will need to
reinstall Microsoft Windows and all your programs.
If you think you remember the password but it isn't working, make sure the CAPS
LOCK key isn't turned on when you type the password.
There may be more than one user account with administrative privileges on the
computer. Try to log on to any/all of these administrative accounts. If you can
log on to any account with administrative privileges, you can reset the password
to your primary administrative user account by using the User Accounts section
of the Windows control panel.
On Windows XP, you may be able to log on using the hidden Administrator account
by restarting the computer in safe mode. Here are details from Microsoft
