Time limits for my child were changed somehow, but I didn't change them

It is possible your child guessed your password. Or maybe he/she walked up to the computer while you were still logged on and started the TimesUpKidz program. Make sure there is a tough-to-guess password on your Windows user account, and don't forget to choose "Log Off" or "Switch User" from the Windows Start menu when you are doing using the computer. You can change your Windows password from the User Accounts section of the Windows Control Panel. If you think you might forget to log off, configure your Windows screen saver to turn on automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity, and use the "on resume, display logon screen" option.

If you've got teenagers or tech-savvy kids who will go to extreme lengths to try to hack the program and bypass the time limits, read how to lock down the computer
