How to uninstall TimesUpKidz
You can usually remove TimesUpKidz by using the Windows Control Panel. On Windows XP,
click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add or Remove Programs.
On Windows Vista/7, click Start, click Control Panel, click Programs, and then
follow the instructions to remove TimesUpKidz from your computer.
If you receive an error message when you attempt to uninstall the software, follow
the steps below to manually remove it.
- Consider printing these instructions so they’ll be easier to follow.
- Restart your computer to make sure that no one is logged on to any user account.
- Log on to a Windows user account that has administrative privileges. This is
usually your account.
- Start the Windows command prompt. If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7,
click Start, type cmd, right click on the cmd item in the list, and choose Run
as Administrator. If you are using Windows XP, click Start, choose Run..., type
cmd and press OK.
- In the command prompt window, type "sc delete timesupkidz" (without the
quotation marks) and press Enter
- Browse to and delete the folder: C:\Program Files\Rain City Digital
LLC\TimesUpKidz
- Note that the steps above will NOT delete your time limit settings, usage
history, and/or the product key you typed in. Usually there is no need to delete these files.
If for some reason you want to delete these files, then browse to and
delete the folder that holds this information. On Windows XP, the folder is "C:\Documents
and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Rain City Digital TimesUpKidz". On
Windows Vista and Windows 7, the folder is "C:\ProgramData\Rain
City Digital TimesUpKidz".
- On the Windows Start menu, browse to "TimesUpKidz Reminders" in the Startup folder, right-click on the program, and choose Delete.
- Restart your computer
If you are unsuccessful removing the software, please send a very
